CONGRATULATION AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to all the moms in our lives; the mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, mothers-in-law, aunts, wives, partners, sisters, friends, mentors and women who love with a mother’s heart.
Mothers deserve to be celebrated because of what they do and stand for. Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to stop and reflect on all the beautiful heartfelt and unconditional expressions of love and care from mothers and women in general.
Mother’s Day isn’t just a day for celebrating your own mother. It’s a day for honoring all the women in your life who support and nurture you, from your sister to your grandmother. It’s also a chance to wish a happy Mother’s Day to your mother-in-law, whose loving care helped shape the person you chose to marry.
The pivotal role of being a mother is still the divine mission assigned to women alone. It was William Ross Wallace who said, “The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world”. The influence of a mother over her child can never be over emphasized. In the long run, as a mother strives to nurture and teach a child, she implicitly and explicitly makes the world a much better place.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
It is so amazing the magnetic connection between a mother and child; a Jewish proverb described this beautifully when it noted, “A mother understands what a child does not say.” Yahweh Elohim gave mothers the special gift of intuition that gives them a strong sense of what is right for their children, what they are good at and how they may excel in the future.
Mothers have shaped our world from the cradle by rocking, nurturing and instructing children who grow up to make life-changing and history making accomplishments.
For every preacher, president, doctor, nurse, volunteer worker, caregiver, employer, technician, community worker; there is a mother.
Mothers have always made a difference and will continue to do so.
I lift up my hands in prayer and l Bless All Mothers.
May Jehovah abundantly bless you and Keep you. May you never lack grace and strength for your next level; May peace be found within your walls ALWAYS.
May your children arise up, and call you blessed;
May your husband celebrate and praise you.
May Favor surround you roundabout.
“Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
